Mildred Lawson

Mildred Lawson, age 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, February 16 2026 at Her residence.

She was born on Thursday, February 02 1939, in Russell County, Ky.

She was the daughter of:
Mother - Lucretia Stephens Eads, who has preceded her in death
Father - Chester L. Eads, who has preceded her in death

Illene Foley, of Indianapolis IN

Charlene Foley, spouse Eddy, of Louisville KY

1 Brother:

Glen Eads, spouse Imelda, of Russell Springs KY

She is also survived by a sister in law Kay Lawson and several nieces and nephews. She worked at Firestone, Lear Siegler and retired from Russell County Library and was a member of Salem United Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Eads, Jerry Eads and David Eads and one sister, Faye Rouse. Mildred enjoyed working on her small farm and being outside. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Tricia Malpica and Diane Hainey for taking such good care of her. Also thank to her sister-in-law Kay Lawson for stepping up to be there for her for whatever she needed or wanted.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, February 20 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 11 AM Friday, February 20 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Highway 910, Russell Springs, KY.
